Free Agency/Expansion Teams

• All undrafted players will be added to free agency

• GMs will have the option of signing free agents in snake order continued from the draft​​

​- Expansion Teams

• Expansion teams will be added post draft

• They will consist of NBA teams (that weren't chosen) and G-League teams

• We will conduct interviews for UBA GM slots for expansion teams

• Expansion GMs will be held to the same standard as league GMs

• Expansion teams will immediately be moved to the top of the waiver process

• Expansion teams also get to work with post draft free agents

  • Workouts can either be in ranked ProAM or 5v5 private ProAM (we encourage using group members for this, though it​ isn't mandatory)

• The UBA Board of Commissioners will seek competitive balance during the integration of expansion teams to ensure they are competitive

• The number of expansion teams added will accommodate the number of free agents available

  • Our goal is for at least 90-95% of eligible players to be on a team​

    • The UBA Board of Commissioners will do everything in our power to achieve this quota​

• Post draft free agents cannot be traded from their teams

-Talented/Comp Post Draft Free Agents

• The Board of Commission will make expansions teams aware of well-known comp players

• Expansion GMs are not required to select them, but they will be given this information for their own knowledge to have when signing their free agents

• The UBA Board of Commissioners will seek competitive balance during the integration of expansion teams to ensure they are competitive
